From Olbia: A day-trip by boat around the La Maddalena Archipelago
Discover the famous islands of Santa Maria and Spargi in the La Maddalena Archipelago on a boat tour from Olbia. Visit the Town Hall, the Naval Archaeological Museum and more before going snorkelling and swimming in these stunning Italian waters. Enjoy a local lunch served on board before continuing towards the Sardinian coast.
From the meeting point in Olbia, head to Cannigione and set sail to explore the La Maddalena Archipelago. Sail past the picturesque islands of Caprera and Santo Stefano on your way to the island of La Maddalena.
You’ll then have an hour of free time in La Maddalena. Visit the historic centre, the Town Hall, the Naval Archaeological Museum or the Diocesan Museum of La Maddalena before returning on board.
Continue on to the islands of Spargi and Santa Maria. Moor up and swim in the magnificent crystal-clear waters, go snorkelling or relax whilst sunbathing on the beach. For lunch, enjoy pasta with tomato sauce on board, served by the crew.
The scenic journey continues past the Manto della Madonna, a stretch of shallow sea, before heading back along the Sardinian coastline, passing by the local towns and villages.
It passes by Punta Sardegna, Porto Raphael, Palau and Capo d’Orso. Once you’re back on the mainland, take the minibus back to Olbia.
